Please ensure that you are following all the safety guidelines to ensure your family and friends are all safe during the holidays. Safety tips for the holidays • This is a good time of the year to do a walk-through and check the home for electrical hazards and fire hazards. Turn on interior lights, walk around to make sure there is no light bulb or an electrical issue. • Check heating and cooling units to make sure they are in good working order. • Inspect smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Check batteries at least once a year, and replace the batteries if they are over-the-counter type. • Keep children away from fireplaces. • Keep lawn furniture away from the house. • If a tree has fallen on your property, make sure the area around it is clear of obstructions, such as branches, logs, propane tanks, and other objects.

Global Resources and Supports held a vaccine pop-up clinic for the Corona virus at our downtown office in Las Vegas Nevada. We partnered with Albertsons Pharmacy to be able to vaccinate over 40 people in our local community.

Noah's grandparents invited us to join them as they planned to drop off their ballots at a voting site. It was Noah's first time voting, and he was eager to drop his ballot off as well. He seemed nervous when we arrived but relaxed once he saw how accommodating and friendly the Polling Station staff were.

One of the most compelling voices of our time, Byron V. Garrett is Chairman of the National Family Engagement Alliance (NFEA); a nonprofit dedicated to transforming education through meaningful family engagement. Byron is the Founder & Chief Visionary Officer of The Valdecio Collection, a lifestyle brand consisting of clothing, watches and fragrances.

The Know has developed a national creative writing initiative and a wide range of programs to enrich. Integrated into all our programs is the C.O.R.E. approach: “Create, Organize, Read, Excel,” writing and communication training, mentoring, and work ethic.

Given the most recent developments around the coronavirus, I want to share with you that Global Resources & Supports takes the health and well-being of our individuals and staff very seriously. Please be assured we are keeping a close eye on updates with local and state health departments so we can be prepared to take all proper precautions to make sure everyone feels safe. While the CDC and related government agencies have allowed businesses to operate, we are staying vigilant and do our best to provide you with the best and safest service. Our daily cleaning procedures are already comprehensive, but given the current situation, we have increased our processes to keep our facilities a safe and welcoming environment. Here are a few updates we implemented in lieu of the current events: Hand sanitizers are available for staff and individuals. We’ve hired a full-time cleaner in each office across the United States to sanitize and disinfect all common areas. The chairs and tables will be disinfected after each use. External and internal door handles will be disinfected continuously throughout the day. Staff have been instructed to take extra sanitation measurements. While we do our part, we kindly ask that you do your part. Please refrain from coming to a program if you are ill. We kindly ask everyone wash their hands before and after leaving our facility. We will remain open during normal business hours. In times like this, it is important to be united as a community and help each other out. Panic and fear will only create more turmoil.
