Program Manager

Summary of the Role:
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Global Resources and Supports is hiring a Director of Operations / Program Director to lead our Developmental Disabilities (DD) and Mental Health programs in Nevada. This is a hands-on leadership role—you will be directly responsible for stabilizing operations, ensuring compliance, managing staff, and helping us grow into additional markets. If you do not have direct experience with DRC or IDS/DDS systems, this is not the right role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee all DD and mental health services (residential, day programs, clinic)
- Ensure full compliance with Medicaid, licensing, and documentation standards
- Supervise QDDPs, case managers, residential managers, DSPs, and clinical staff
- Monitor documentation and billing to ensure accuracy and reimbursement integrity
- Lead team meetings, audits, and operational reviews
- Work with HR and Finance on staffing, payroll, and billing
- Help launch and stabilize mental health clinic operations
- Identify gaps and improve systems for efficiency and compliance
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related field
- 5+ years leadership experience in DD, mental health, or human services
- Experience with DRC and/or IDS/DDS systems (required)
- Strong understanding of Medicaid waiver services and compliance
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams
Preferred:
- Master’s degree
- Experience scaling programs or opening new service lines

Job Coach / Employment SpecialistsList Item 1

Summary of Role:
Our Job Coaches / Employment Specialists contribute to our mission supporting people to live quality self-directed lives by assisting individuals to find and keep meaningful employment. A Job Coach/ Employment Specialist provide on-site support to individuals to help them adjust to the workplace and the routine of getting to and from work. We assist with updating resumes, job hunting, interview preparation and on the job support.
Responsibilities:
- Network with local businesses/employers to develop employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Provide vocational counseling and job coaching to individuals
- Complete job/task analysis; including developing and implementing job training plans
- Monitor job placements with a goal of 90-day retention
- Visit job sites and meet with individuals on-site, as scheduled, including evenings and weekends
- Provide intensive skills training and employment adjustment counseling at the job site.
- Monitor individuals’ work adjustment through direct observation and through meetings with employers and supervisors
- Meet with individuals for follow-up counseling at the agency site
- Develop and prepare written assessment of individuals’ adjustment to work and file them in case records
- Attend case conferences or interdisciplinary team meetings and training and development workshops
Education/ Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Two (2) years of experience working directly with the IDD population. (preferred)
- Obtain a clean background check
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be detail oriented, organized, think creatively, and possess problem solving skills
- Must be able to perform CPR, and crisis intervention techniques using GRS protocols
- Demonstrated strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, Experience using electronic client record preferred
- Must possess excellent customer interaction, patience and written and verbal communication skills
- Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence.
- For DC branches, must be fully vaccinated for covid-19 or have an approved exemption on file with DC.
Compensation/ Benefits:
- Salary Range: $20.00-$21.00/hr (based on degree)

Direct Support ProfessionalList Item 3

Summary of Role:
Our Direct Support Professionals contribute to our mission supporting people to live quality self-directed lives through their unique ability to be creatively engaged and provide active treatment. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provide support to individuals across a wide range of tasks with the goal to help people with IDD achieve a more comfortable level of independence.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a therapeutic environment through a wholistic approach to care and support
- Build connections with supported individual using patience and creatively
- Provide active treatment in 1:1 and group settings to support individuals to meet their goals
- Build a relationship with individuals to learn their likes, dislikes and goals.
- Introduce new activities and community exploration with supported individuals
- Coordinate community outings to local places such a bowling, physical activities and sports, museums, restaurants ect.
- Follow the prescribed support plan and behavioral support plans
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable individual’s progress.
- Guide individuals through daily living activities such a scheduling appointment, making transportation arrangements or community navigation, navigating community activities, and exploring hobbies.
- Provide support through daily living activities such as teaching cooking, cleaning, making friends and appropriate social interactions and responses.
- Document on the progress of goals in Therap software.
- Meet with the clinical team to provide feedback and suggests for how to best support the individual.
Education/ Skills Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be detail oriented, organized, think creatively, and possess problem solving skills
- Must be able to perform CPR, and crisis intervention techniques using GRS protocols
- Must possess excellent customer interaction, patience and written and verbal communication skills
- Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence.

Qualified Development Disabilities Professional (QDDP/QIDP)

Summary of Role:
The QDDP contributes to our mission supporting people to live quality self-directed lives through their clinical and programmatic oversight of supported individuals. A QDDP is responsible for all programmatic documentation, including assessments, Individual Service/Program Plans (ISP/IPP), behavior plans, goal tracking, periodic reviews, and quality assurance reviews. They are also responsible for team meeting documentation and staff training management.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates, conducts, and writes Annual and Quarterly reviews of individuals
- Coordinates service delivery and ensure the highest quality of lives for those supported
- Assures programs are developed, integrated, and implemented in a timely manner
- Observes Staff implementation of active treatment goals with individuals and provides hands on training as needed
- Implements all procedures regarding client budgets including but not limited to oversight of monthly finance reports and oversight of client spending money
- Assists with the coordination of regular nursing meetings and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for medical appointments
- Ensures medical appointments are scheduled and follow up occurs with nursing
- Assists with operational responsibilities as needed to include petty cash submission, food shopping and on call coverage
- Maintains effective communication between management, staff, and circle of support
- Actively participates, taking leadership role when assigned, clinical rounds, quality improvement activities, educational training
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education/ Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the human services field and two (2) years of experience working directly with the IDD population.
- Two (2) years supervisory experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Obtain a clean background check
- Must be detail oriented, organized, think creatively, and possess problem solving skills
- Must possess excellent customer interaction, and written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, Experience using electronic client record preferred
- Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence.

Compensation/ Benefits:
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually (Full-time)
- Health insurance, and life insurance eligible after 60 days probation
- Vacation, sick and personal days accrue after 90 days probation
